Position Summary
Profab Electronics is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Receiving Manager to oversee all incoming materials, inventory receiving processes, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate receipt, inspection, documentation, storage, and distribution of materials while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. This role is critical to supporting efficient manufacturing operations, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all daily receiving activities, including inspection and verification of incoming materials and components.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving shortages, damaged materials, or incorrect shipments.
- Coordinate the movement of materials between receiving, warehouse, stockroom, and production departments.
- Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse and receiving personnel.
- Ensure proper labeling, identification, handling, and storage of inventory.
- Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Monitor warehouse organization and material flow to maximize efficiency and space utilization.
- Enforce company safety policies, quality standards, and OSHA compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Shipping teams to support operational objectives.
- Develop and implement process improvements that increase receiving accuracy, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance as required.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (green card holder).
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of warehouse, inventory, logistics, or materials management experience.
- Previous supervisory or management experience required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics manufacturing or EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services).
- Proficiency with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, receiving procedures, and material handling best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, or contract manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with ISO quality standards and inventory management processes.
- Ability to analyze operational data and implement process improvements.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse-related activities throughout the workday.
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
