The NDT Inspector is accountable for the quality, cost, and schedule of inspection operations for as-received, work-in-progress (WIP), and final inspections. Inspection scope includes repaired and new make parts for both turbine engine parts and power generation package parts.

Position Responsibilities
- Receive orders and validate part quantities and completeness of instructions.
- Perform dimensional inspection.
- Perform Visual Testing (VT), Fluorescent Penetrant Inspections (FPI) / Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI)
- Perform Eddy current testing (ET)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) / Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
- Radiographic Testing (RT) / X-Ray
- Set up and calibrate NDT equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on NDT equipment.
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
- Organize, record, report, and file NDT test results.
- Perform other job tasks as assigned by supervision.
- Maintain an accurate log of applied hours by NDT discipline to support advancement in certification levels and/or methods.
- Pass certification tests in applicable NDT methods to advance skills and position level.
- Operate cranes and vehicles.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
- Must have Minimum 3 years performing NDT Inspector work.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
- Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Mechanical aptitude and use strong working knowledge of common hand tools.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- NDT Certification
- Educational background in NDT
- Technical understanding of NDT methods and procedures used in the Power and Aero Industries.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions and procedures.
