What are the responsibilities and job description for the User Experience Designer position at Prodigy Resources?
Senior UX Designer Individual Contributor · Full-Time · Enterprise SaaS / HCM
How You Will Contribute
We're looking for a UX Designer who operates at the highest level of craft and strategic impact. You'll own major product areas end-to-end, push the boundaries of enterprise design, and help elevate an entire HCM suite from functional to truly exceptional. This is a highly visible, individual-contributor role for someone who thrives on solving complex problems with elegant, scalable solutions and naturally mentors others through excellence.
What You'll Do
- Independently own the visual and interaction design of large, complex product initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Deliver world-class, pixel-perfect UI that balances sophistication, clarity, and performance in dense enterprise workflows.
- Drive evolution of the design system: author new components and patterns, refine existing ones, and ensure adoption across multiple product teams.
- Partner deeply with product management and engineering leadership to shape roadmaps and define what "great" looks like.
- Proactively identify usability issues, accessibility gaps, and brand inconsistencies; propose and validate solutions through prototypes and testing.
- Produce production-ready specifications and assets; work side-by-side with senior front-end engineers to achieve flawless implementation.
- Lead design critiques, set the quality bar, and provide constructive feedback that levels up the entire design organization.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of product design experience with at least 2 years focused on complex web-based enterprise SaaS applications.
- Outstanding portfolio demonstrating mastery of visual design, interaction design, and design systems at scale (bonus: HCM, payroll, or financial software).
- Expert-level Figma proficiency; you've built and scaled design systems used by multiple teams.
- Experience creating interactive mockups using Figma Make AI.
- Strong experience conducting user research and testing designs.
- Proven ability to simplify highly complex domains without sacrificing power or compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; you influence directors and VPs with clarity and confidence.
Why Join Us
- Directly shape the future look and feel of a platform used by 100,000 clients.
- Work with a highly skilled team of senior R&D product and engineering experts.
- A culture that genuinely respects the contributions of design and user-first thinking.
Benefits
- Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA — all effective on day 1.
- Company-paid Basic Life Insurance, AD&D, Long-Term Disability, and Short-Term Disability.
- 401K Program with 3% safe harbor contribution.
- Employee Stock Purchase Program.
- Fitness Reimbursement Program.
- Self-Managed PTO.
