Field Service Solutions Technician
Full-Time · Hybrid — Louisville, CO · Travel Required
About the role
This isn't your average break-fix tech role. As a Field Service Solutions Technician, you'll own a portfolio of customer accounts — serving as their go-to technical resource for issue resolution, hands-on training, and maximizing the value of their equipment. You'll partner with Site Reliability Engineers, feed insights back to engineering teams, and help build the knowledge base that keeps operations running smoothly.
What you'll do
- Deliver remote and onsite support and equipment repairs with a customer-first mindset
- Own a portfolio of customer accounts — tracking performance and proactively managing risk
- Train customers on routine maintenance, self-diagnosis, and common repairs
- Partner with Site Reliability Engineers to identify high-risk areas and build mitigation plans
- Document and report recurring service issues and hardware failures to close the engineering feedback loop
- Manage the handoff from installation to ongoing service, including take-over-certificate review
- Maintain and expand internal/external service documentation — videos, written guides, and knowledge base articles
- Process customer warranty claims via Salesforce
- Track billable hours accurately through internal systems
- Mentor and onboard newer members of the service team
Required qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on field service experience, both onsite and remote
- Strong background in technical hardware, field engineering, or field technician work
- Experience with industrial controls — valves, sensors, actuators, and control systems
- Proficiency with common field tools (tap/die sets, impact drills, grinders, multi-meter, etc.)
- Ability to travel on short notice to customer sites
- Strong communicator across all levels of an organization
- Analytical mindset — able to use data to drive better outcomes, not just report it
- Able to lift up to 45 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions (heat, dust, confined spaces)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
