What are the responsibilities and job description for the TIG Welder/Fabricator position at Prodigy Boat?
We're a rapidly growing marine manufacture that is looking to expand our team. Ideally looking for someone who has experience with aluminum fabrication and is comfortable in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.
This skilled Aluminum TIG Welder MUST be experienced in both TIG/MIG welding on aluminum, bending/fitting pipe and sheet metal layout.
Our work week is Monday-Thursday and there is potential for overtime on Fridays.
Pay is based on experience.
TIG Welder Responsibilities and Duties:
- Examine detailed drawings or specifications to find out job, material and equipment requirements
- Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools or welding equipment
- Alter dimensions to fit specifications and interpret measurements
- Ensure that the work area is kept clean and organized
TIG Welder Qualifications and Skills:
- 1 year "hands-on" TIG welding experience in a high-volume fabrication plant
- Experienced math skills are needed due to our technological needs
- Use of power tools such as pipe bender, skill saw, miter saw, metal shear
- Strength to lift objects during the fabrication/assembly process is required
