The Opportunity

What You’ll Do
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers and subject matter experts, instilling a growth culture and ensuring they are equipped with tools, analytics, and training to excel.
- Set performance expectations, manage P&L responsibility for your team, and ensure delivery against revenue and growth targets
- Foster a collaborative, member-first culture that drives innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Account Management & Growth
- Drive member adoption of PA’s packaging logistic programs while identifying upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities across Packaging, MRO, and Freight.
- Serve as executive sponsor for strategic accounts, building trust-based relationships with senior leaders in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Logistics.
- Lead contract renewals, reduce attrition risk, and ensure exceptional member experience and retention.
- Act as escalation point for member concerns, resolving issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Supplier & Market Engagement
- Establish and maintain strong supplier partnerships to support competitive pricing, innovation, and service delivery.
- Leverage market insights and packaging expertise (rigids, flexibles, industrial, sustainable solutions) to advise members and deliver thought leadership.
- Guide value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) initiatives to identify cost savings, process efficiencies, and sustainable packaging opportunities.
- Strategic & Commercial Impact
- Develop and implement strategies to increase packaging revenue, expand engineering capabilities, and introduce new service offerings (consulting, testing, rapid sampling, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal teams (Business Development, Partner Development, Operations, Implementation) to align member goals with PA’s solutions.
- Drive adoption of PA analytics and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights and supply chain improvements for members.
About You
- Experience & Expertise
- 10 years of progressive leadership in packaging, supply chain, or procurement, with direct experience in account management and business development.
- Strong background in packaging sourcing, distribution, or manufacturing; with proven expertise in cost modeling, supplier management, and packaging innovation.
- Demonstrated success in leading customer-facing teams and achieving revenue and retention goals.
- Proven ability to engage with C-suite stakeholders and deliver consultative, data-driven solutions.
