What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities/Ski Area Technician position at Proctor Academy?
Proctor Academy seeks a responsible, detail-oriented, and dependable worker who takes pride in their work and is willing to work with changing priorities with enthusiasm. This position is full-time and involves working at the Ski Area during the ski season (Oct to April) and in Facilities for the rest of the year mainly on the grounds team, (May to Sept.) Duties involve but are not limited to maintaining the ski area, snowmaking, running the lifts, maintaining the grounds, mowing, trimming, and raking.
Applicants must be able to lift 75 pounds, manage workflow, commit to excellence, have high standards, understand written and verbal instructions, be computer literate, and have a valid driver’s license.
