Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a full-time corporate paralegal. Our work focuses on commercial real estate, banking, commercial construction, and corporate law. Prior experience in corporate transactions or real estate is useful — but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
The ideal candidate double-checks everything before hitting send. They manage deadlines without reminders, keep track of moving parts across multiple cases, and flag problems early. They have worked on complex transactions or can quickly get up to speed. They are not looking to just support attorneys — they want to grow into legal operations and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Draft documents, form entities, manage transaction files, review and research titles, draft title policies, prepare closing statements, record documents in the registry of deeds.
- Track deadlines, schedule closings, and coordinate with clients and transaction counsel.
- Review documents for accuracy, formatting, and signature.
- Manage client communication and maintain accurate records.
- Identify issues early and communicate with attorneys to address them.
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate or related degree
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage shifting priorities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and open to learning legal technology.
- Manage confidential client information with care.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving legal environment
- Willing to learn skills and take on new tasks with support or training
- High integrity and sound ethical judgment
- Takes ownership and follows through on responsibilities.
- Works well in a team setting with strong communication skills
