We are seeking a highly experienced and disciplined Corporate Accountant to join our finance team and play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of our financial operations.
About the Role
This is a full-time, salaried position reporting directly to the Head of Monetization. The Corporate Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, manage monthly close procedures, lead internal controls, and support financial planning efforts. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in corporate accounting, high standards for accuracy, and a passion for building efficient systems in a growing startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Core Accounting
- Maintain and manage the general ledger, journal entries, and chart of accounts
- Maintain and manage all aspects of the company’s A/R and A/P including payments, collections, and reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
- Oversee reconciliations for bank, credit card, and merchant accounts
- Perform monthly close activities, accruals, and balance sheet account analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes
- Coordinate with external CPA firm for tax filings and compliance
- Ensure accounting practices are compliant with GAAP and internal policies
- Take ownership of building out and managing a small team of accountants as the company expands.
- Maintain clean audit-ready documentation and controls for all financial activities
· System & Operational Support
- Manage the accounting tech stack including QuickBooks Online (QBO), spreadsheets, and integrated reporting tools
- Review inventory tracking and cost-of-goods accounting in collaboration with operations
- Identify and implement process improvements for scalable financial operations
- Assist in any additional duties as tasks as needed by the company.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10 years of continuous experience in accounting, with strong general ledger and month-end close background
- Expertise with QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain strict confidentiality, and manage competing priorities
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proven record of delivering accurate financial reporting in a deadline-driven environment
Bonus Points For

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $120K- $130,000/year Performance-Based Bonus
- Equity: Opportunity for equity awards and participation in future growth rounds (post-probationary)
- Paid Time Off: 4 weeks per year (including 2-week year-end holiday break)
