Sr Accountant - Contract - Fort Worth, TX
Are you a finance professional who enjoys owning balance sheet accuracy while navigating global accounting and compliance standards?
Proclinical is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to support critical financial close activities and ensure accurate reporting processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role focuses on maintaining the integrity of financial data, particularly Balance Sheet accounts, while adhering to global accounting standards and compliance requirements.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong understanding of IFRS and global accounting standards.
- Proficiency in financial reporting systems such as FCCS and PBCS.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate financial data within tight deadlines.
- Experience in preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
The Sr Accountant's responsibilities will be:
- Carry out frequent, and annual close activities in alignment with the global accounting calendar and schedule.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of submitted financial data with IFRS, Accounting Manual (GAM), and statutory requirements.
- Confirm proper classification of financial reporting lines across IFRS FCCS and core performance PBCS books.
