Proclinical is seeking a Sr Accountant to support financial operations within the dermatology and pharmaceutical industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining business continuity during system transitions and supporting critical accounting processes. This role focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting, data integrity, and seamless integration of financial systems.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong experience with Oracle financial systems, including data reconciliation and reporting structures.
- Proficiency in financial master data management and integration processes.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting, including standard costs and sub-ledger reviews.
- Ability to manage and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across teams.
The Sr Accountant's responsibilities will be:
- Lead financial master data cleansing, validation, and mapping activities for system integration, including General Ledger accounts, cost centers, strategic customers, and other financial dimensions.
- Design, build, test, and validate Oracle financial and management reporting structures.
- Perform data reconciliations and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization efforts.
- Track inventory standard costs, cost receipt accounting, and sub-ledger reviews on a weekly basis.
- Support and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities in alignment with the global accounting calendar and close schedule.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for Inventory Balance Sheet accounts.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting with a focus on inventory-related accounts.
