Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This role will work closely with the Controller and finance team and will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial records. Prior experience in a manufacturing or operational environment is preferred but not required.

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This role will work closely with the Controller and finance team and will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial records. Prior experience in a manufacturing or operational environment is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries and support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform detailed balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Support financial statement preparation, including monthly and quarterly reporting packages
- Assist with inventory, cost accounting, and variance analysis (as applicable)
- Support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests
- Participate in process improvements, documentation, and internal control enhancement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and other departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience preferred but not required
- Experience with ERP systems (manufacturing ERP experience a plus)
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Manufacturing or industrial accounting environment
- Exposure to inventory accounting, standard costing, or operational variance analysis
- Prior audit support experience
- CPA or CPA-track (a plus, but not required)
