Responsibilities

The Quality Inspector position is part of the Quality Team and reports to the VP of Operations. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):

• Developing and maintaining company inspection reports.
• Training team members on RMA processes.
• Support of returns inventory and return analysis.
• Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
• Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards as well as Federal and State law.
• Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
• Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor.
• Collating test data and drafting quality reports.
• Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
• Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.
• Administrative tasks to maintain compliance to the Quality Management System
• Additional tasks as assigned by the VP of Operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience as an Inspection or Quality Technician.
• Understanding of basic and shop mathematics required
• Basic blueprint reading required
• Ability to use and read mics and calipers required
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as multi-meter preferred
• High-level of visual awareness.
• Advanced organizational skills.
• Experience drafting reports and collating data.
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
