CAD Technician

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our design team. The candidate will be responsible for creating finial production documents for equipment & systems used in the crushing, screening and processing of aggregates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Detail custom conveying equipment, crushing and screening plants.
• Create detail & general arrangement drawings using CAD for fabrication & erection.
• Provide drafting support for multiple projects, assisting project managers in meeting deadlines & project goals.
• Collaborate with the project team to translate design concepts into detailed plans & 3D models.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Formal education/training in drafting using 2D and/or 3D CAD software.

• Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Additional industry-specific training or certification a plus.

Thorough understanding of:

• AutoCAD and Inventor CAD system (Vault).
• Hydraulic schematics and piping layouts.

Proven experience working with aggregate processing equipment & bulk material handling systems is highly desirable.

Candidate Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Motivated self-starter.
• Attention to detail.
• Willing to travel to job sites (drive or fly) as needed with occasional overnight stays.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 – 55.0 per week
