Do you love turning complex electrical drawings into clear, confident estimates? In Covington, GA, you’ll help shape winning bids and deliver the certainty our clients count on.

Picture This

A new industrial project hits your desk. You parse the specs, walk the site, and partner with engineers and project managers to validate scope. You build a defensible estimate, supported by quotes you’ve negotiated and cost history you’ve maintained—then help craft a compelling proposal for the client.

In This Role, You Will

  • Assemble complete estimates for industrial electrical projects, covering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
  • Interpret plans and specifications to define scope, surface challenges, and mitigate uncertainties.
  • Work cross-functionally with project managers and engineers to secure precise inputs and rates.
  • Conduct site assessments to verify existing conditions and refine takeoffs and pricing.
  • Manage and update a historical pricing library to inform future estimates.
  • Engage suppliers and subcontractors for competitive quotes and evaluate proposals.
  • Support bid development and contribute to client presentations.
  • Track evolving codes, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliant, competitive bids.

What Makes You a Fit

  • Experience as an electrical estimator within industrial settings.
  • Solid grounding in electrical systems, components, and installation workflows.
  • Fluency with estimating tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Analytical rigor, numerical accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
  • Ability to operate independently while managing multiple estimates at once.
  • Credentials or a degree in electrical engineering (or related field) are a plus.
