In This Role, You Will
- Assemble complete estimates for industrial electrical projects, covering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Interpret plans and specifications to define scope, surface challenges, and mitigate uncertainties.
- Work cross-functionally with project managers and engineers to secure precise inputs and rates.
- Conduct site assessments to verify existing conditions and refine takeoffs and pricing.
- Manage and update a historical pricing library to inform future estimates.
- Engage suppliers and subcontractors for competitive quotes and evaluate proposals.
- Support bid development and contribute to client presentations.
- Track evolving codes, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliant, competitive bids.
- Experience as an electrical estimator within industrial settings.
- Solid grounding in electrical systems, components, and installation workflows.
- Fluency with estimating tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Analytical rigor, numerical accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
- Ability to operate independently while managing multiple estimates at once.
- Credentials or a degree in electrical engineering (or related field) are a plus.
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
