This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 35 hours per week, from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, supporting a caseload at Troutman Elementary.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and effective sign language interpretation services for students in a school setting.
- Arrive onsite prior to student arrival to prepare for each day.
- Collaborate closely with educators and staff to facilitate communication and learning.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Follow all contract and school district policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Sign Language Interpreter (SLI).
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher is required; alternatively, RID certification qualifies candidates regardless of EIPA score.
- Experience interpreting in educational settings strongly preferred.
- Ability to work onsite full-time; no remote options or voice-over certification substitutions.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to supporting student success.
