Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with students in grades 3-12 preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations for special education students
- Review educational records, outside reports, and relevant developmental and medical history
- Administer, score, and interpret psychological, cognitive, adaptive, behavioral, social-emotional, and academic assessments
- Observe classrooms and collect data from teachers and caregivers
- Participate in eligibility determination and IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and administrators
- Maintain compliance with IDEA, FERPA, state regulations, and timelines
- Produce thorough psychological reports and timely documentation
