Skills & Experience We Value:
- State licensure as an SLP or SLPA (or eligibility to obtain)
- Familiarity with school-based speech services for elementary and middle school-age students
- Experience developing and implementing therapy plans for K-8 students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Flexibility to provide in-person or virtual (VOCO/teletherapy) services, as needed
- Ability to adapt to military base culture and policies
- Previous experience in school or military-connected settings is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy to K-8 students
- Conduct assessments, draft IEP speech goals, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain compliance with documentation, reporting, and confidentiality guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences as needed
- Travel may be required between buildings; open to virtual service delivery if requested
