Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Hayward, CA

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available in Hayward, CA, offering a contract opportunity best suited for professionals committed to onsite work. This role supports students with communication disorders, providing critical therapy and support that enhances their academic success and social development.Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students.Deliver speech and language services onsite at least 4 days per week.Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district and state guidelines.Participate actively in team meetings and student progress discussions.Qualifications:Must hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).Experience working in school settings is required.No virtual or travel candidates; commitment to onsite work preferred.SLPA or Clinical Fellowship candidates will not be considered.Work Hours:37.5 hours per week.7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.Preference for 5 days onsite but 1 remote day possible based on the needs of the position.This position is ideal for an organized, motivated SLP who thrives working directly with students and staff in a dynamic school environment.
