Speech Language Pathologist in Fairport, NY

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a contract opportunity supporting middle school, high school, and transition-age students with multiple disabilities in a dynamic educational environment. This position spans July 9th through August 19th, offering a fulfilling summer session schedule of 7-hour days from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a meaningful impact in students’ communication growth and overall development.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
• Proven experience working within school-based or similar settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with multiple disabilities, preferably across middle, high, and transition school ages
• Strong collaboration skills—comfort working with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Commitment to providing inclusive, supportive, and evidence-based therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments individualized to each student
• Develop and implement intervention strategies and IEP goals tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
• Maintain accurate documentation for progress monitoring and compliance
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote continuity of care
• Contribute to team meetings and student progress reviews
