Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person speech and language therapy to students with a caseload of approximately 45-50, including those with learning disabilities, Autism, OHI, and language impairment.
- Serve multiple age groups, addressing individualized student needs outside of the general education classroom.
- Develop IEPs, track progress, document services, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
- Participate in case conferences and family meetings, offering clear, compassionate communication regarding student progress and recommendations.
- Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques tailored to each student’s unique strengths and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Current Maryland licensure/certification as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.
- Proven experience as a school-based SLP or equivalent pediatric experience highly desired.
- Strong understanding of special education processes, IEP development, and school-based service delivery.
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Dedicated to providing hands-on, in-person services (this is not a virtual/teletherapy role).
