Details:
- Full-time schedule aligned with the academic year (August 2026 – May 2027)
- Manage average caseloads while fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification
- Experience working with preschool and/or mild to moderate student populations preferred
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Strong organizational skills with a collaborative mindset
- Commitment to professional communication with staff, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver engaging instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Work closely with support staff to promote student achievement and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and participate in team meetings
- Foster a safe, supportive classroom environment for all learners
