Special Education Teacher – Nottoway, Virginia
2026–2027 School Year
ProCare Therapy is seeking Special Education Teachers to support students during the 2026–2027 school year. There are 2 full-time openings available at the elementary and middle school levels.
Position Details
- August 19, 2026 – June 4, 2027
- Full-time : 37.5 hours per week
- Co-taught classroom settings
- Primary School: Grades 3–4, caseload of fewer than 10 students
- Middle School: Grades 7–8, caseload of fewer than 10 students
Requirements
- Active VA Special Education teaching license required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Job Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction in co-taught classroom settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support student success
- Develop and implement IEPs based on student needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Communicate with families and school staff regarding student performance and accommodations
Pay
- $30–32/hr (based on experience, credentials, and caseload)
