A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role is available in a supportive school district located in the Northern suburbs of Denver, CO. This opportunity is ideal for both new graduates and experienced professionals seeking to make an impact in a smaller district environment serving approximately 7,000 students across 16 sites.
Position Highlights:
- Casual caseload of about 40 students, ranging from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade.
- Student needs span mild to severe speech and language challenges.
- Services include evaluations, direct therapy, and detailed service notes.
- Monthly speech service minutes allocated.
- The role includes case management responsibilities for students whose IEPs specify speech-only services.
- District provides supervision for Clinical Fellows (CF). Note: SLP Assistants (SLPAs) are not accepted.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is a must.
Interview Process:
- Initial screening via Teams with the director of integrated services (15-30 minutes).
- Follow-up panel interview, preferably in person but flexible for virtual attendance (30-45 minutes).
- Prescreen availability primarily on Mondays and Fridays.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must hold or be actively working toward Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credentials; status must be disclosed.
- Open to candidates in the process of relocation who can provide updates.
- No acceptance of VOCO, hybrid roles, or nursing positions.
