Location: Scranton, PA

Compensation Starting At:

SLP-CF: $47/hour
SLP-CCC: $50/hour
Travelers: $57/hour equivalent
Higher rates available based on experience and assignment details

Hours: Full-time, 37.5–40 hours/week

Assignment: 2026–2027 School Year

About the Role

ProCare Therapy is partnering with school districts in the Scranton area to hire a School Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to support K–12 students while experiencing a welcoming community in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
• Conduct evaluations and assessments as part of the IEP process
• Develop and implement IEP goals; track and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams
• Maintain accurate documentation per district and state standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and eligibility determinations

Caseload Details

• Setting: K–12 School-Based
• Caseload size: District determined
• Focus areas: Articulation, language, fluency, pragmatics, and AAC
• Number of schools: One or more schools depending on assignment

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Prior school-based experience preferred
