Preferred Qualification and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid SLP-CCC certification
- Active California state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience delivering speech and language services in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation
- Provide both direct and consultative speech-language services
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Adapt intervention strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
