Applicants with their Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) are encouraged to apply. The position is open to presenting Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) as part of consideration.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Virginia SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience with K-12 school-aged students is ideal
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
- Comfortable supporting diverse caseloads and adapting therapy to individual student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to a varied K-12 caseload
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for each student
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to best support each learner
- Supervise SLPA and/or support CFY development as appropriate
