Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement targeted interventions based on student IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for a caseload of 20 elementary students
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to foster language development and communication skills
- Monitor and document student progress; prepare reports and maintain detailed records
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to shape student goals
- Serve as a resource and advocate for effective communication within the school community
