Step into a rewarding, contract-based opportunity supporting elementary students for the 26/27 school year! We’re seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time position, covering August 6 through May 19, with a 35-hour workweek. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated school team and help students achieve meaningful progress in their communication skills.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active SLP license in North Carolina (or eligibility for NC licensure)
- Open to candidates with CCC or CFY credentials
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is valued
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Collaborative approach with educators, families, and other service professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services for elementary caseload (K-5)
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress reports
- Consult with teachers and staff to support student success in the classroom
- Engage families in supporting student communication goals
- Attend school-based meetings and contribute to a supportive student environment
