This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in an elementary and K-12 school environment in the Fuquay Varina area of North Carolina. The assignment is onsite from April 13, 2026, through May 22, 2026, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload at an elementary school (Overhills Elementary) and a K-12 caseload
- Delivering comprehensive speech therapy services to students with diverse communication disorders
- Collaborating with educators and staff to develop tailored interventions and support plans
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participating in meetings and contributing to student progress discussions
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active North Carolina SLP license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred
- Experience working in a school setting as an SLP
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite exclusively (no teletherapy or VOCO options)
