Position Summary
A school district in San Francisco, CA is seeking a School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students in K–12 settings. This role involves supporting academic success, behavioral functioning, and social-emotional development through assessment, consultation, and intervention.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility

• Interpret cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessment data

• Write detailed evaluation reports and present findings at IEP meetings

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff

• Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention when needed

• Support development of behavior intervention plans and MTSS frameworks

• Assist in identifying and supporting students with learning and emotional needs

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required

• Valid California School Psychologist credential required

• Experience in K–12 school settings preferred

• Strong assessment, consultation, and report writing skills

• Knowledge of special education laws and procedures

• Ability to manage caseloads and meet deadlines
