Position Summary
A school district in San Francisco, CA is seeking a School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students in K–12 settings. This role involves supporting academic success, behavioral functioning, and social-emotional development through assessment, consultation, and intervention.
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility
Interpret cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessment data
Write detailed evaluation reports and present findings at IEP meetings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention when needed
Support development of behavior intervention plans and MTSS frameworks
Assist in identifying and supporting students with learning and emotional needs
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
Valid California School Psychologist credential required
Experience in K–12 school settings preferred
Strong assessment, consultation, and report writing skills
Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
Ability to manage caseloads and meet deadlines
