School Psychologist in North Hollywood, CA

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized psychological services within an educational setting serving students with significant behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges. The role supports a diverse student population aged 5 to 22 and requires a professional committed to fostering positive outcomes through comprehensive assessment and intervention.

Work Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 3:30 PM
• Two days per week at one campus
• Two days per week at a second campus
• One flex day at either campus based on program needs

Key Qualifications:

• Current California credential/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with students who have severe behavioral and developmental disabilities
• Strong knowledge of special education law, behavioral interventions, and trauma-informed practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support individualized educational planning
• Develop and implement intervention and support strategies tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student well-being and academic progress
• Manage crises effectively and provide support in challenging situations
• Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements through thorough documentation and reporting
