This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized psychological services within an educational setting serving students with significant behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges. The role supports a diverse student population aged 5 to 22 and requires a professional committed to fostering positive outcomes through comprehensive assessment and intervention.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 3:30 PM
- Two days per week at one campus
- Two days per week at a second campus
- One flex day at either campus based on program needs
Key Qualifications:
- Current California credential/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students who have severe behavioral and developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of special education law, behavioral interventions, and trauma-informed practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support individualized educational planning
- Develop and implement intervention and support strategies tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student well-being and academic progress
- Manage crises effectively and provide support in challenging situations
- Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements through thorough documentation and reporting
