A licensed Massachusetts School Psychologist is needed to support high school students in a contract position lasting through the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time role (35 hours per week) is based in Chicopee, MA, providing vital psychological services to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to understand student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized plans
- Provide direct counseling and interventions to support student well-being
- Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies
- Participate in meetings such as IEPs and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Massachusetts School Psychologist license (submission of license screenshot required)
- Demonstrated school-based experience, preferably in high school settings
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to complete state-required CORI/fingerprint background check promptly
- Reliable transportation and availability for full-time hours
