School Psychologist in Chicopee, MA

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed Massachusetts School Psychologist is needed to support high school students in a contract position lasting through the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time role (35 hours per week) is based in Chicopee, MA, providing vital psychological services to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to understand student needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized plans
• Provide direct counseling and interventions to support student well-being
• Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies
• Participate in meetings such as IEPs and multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Massachusetts School Psychologist license (submission of license screenshot required)
• Demonstrated school-based experience, preferably in high school settings
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and evidence-based interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to complete state-required CORI/fingerprint background check promptly
• Reliable transportation and availability for full-time hours
