Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support a high school setting in Jersey City, NJ. This role requires working three days per week, with a 7-hour workday, totaling 21 hours weekly. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 13th, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for high school students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Assist in identifying and addressing students social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success

Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience conducting assessments and providing interventions in a school environment, preferably at the high school level
• Strong knowledge of educational laws, psychological testing, and counseling techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain confidentiality
