A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Jefferson, SC. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, ideally featuring three days onsite and two days remote, supporting students from preschool through high school across one primary school, one elementary school, and one high school. This contract position requires a dedicated professional to provide psychological services throughout the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students from preschool to high school.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Offer counseling and support services to students to promote academic, social, and emotional development.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with a diverse student population spanning preschool through high school.
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and collaboration within educational settings.
- Ability to work effectively in both onsite and remote environments.
