School Occupational Therapist - Hillsboro, Oregon

What You’ll Bring:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license in the state of Oregon
• Experience in school or pediatric settings, ideally with early childhood or preschool populations
• Strong understanding of interventions aligned with IEPs, sensory needs, and motor skill development
• Excellent collaboration skills to consult with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Effective communication skills to document progress, write reports, and provide resources
• Ability to adapt strategies for a caseload of 26 students with a range of unique needs
• Commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practices

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct assessments and deliver direct and consultative OT services
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
• Offer sensory-motor interventions, adaptive strategies, and assistive technology support
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff for holistic student progress
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and reporting
• Engage in ongoing communication with families regarding student development
• Contribute to a positive, nurturing environment that maximizes each child’s potential
