Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in Indiana
- Preferred background in school-based settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with elementary-aged children, including those in special education
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to elementary students across a range of needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students’ academic and communication goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to foster a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of progress and comply with all program requirements and state regulations
- Contribute to student evaluation and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
Expected Assignment Details:
- Start date: October 12; End date: May 27
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Manage a caseload of around 60 elementary students, including significant involvement with Applied Skills classrooms
