Role highlights:
- Collaborate with a special education cooperative serving districts within an hour of Emporia, KS
- Provide speech-language services in one of several settings:
- Infant/toddler (Emporia, full-time, 1 evening per week, possible hybrid, starting July 13th)
- Elementary/Middle School (Emporia, full-time)
- PreK-12th (Chase County, full-time, caseload ranges from 10-55 students per week)
- Address a variety of speech, language, and communication needs within school environments
- Enjoy flexible scheduling with accommodations for full or part time hours
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Kansas SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and allied professionals
- Organizational skills to manage varied caseloads and documentation
- Comfort using teletherapy tools for hybrid service delivery
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, direct therapy, and consultative services for infants through high school students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain timely and accurate records and progress monitoring
- Communicate progress and engage with students, families, and faculty
