School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Emporia, Kansas

Role highlights:

• Collaborate with a special education cooperative serving districts within an hour of Emporia, KS
• Provide speech-language services in one of several settings:
  
  • Infant/toddler (Emporia, full-time, 1 evening per week, possible hybrid, starting July 13th)
  • Elementary/Middle School (Emporia, full-time)
  • PreK-12th (Chase County, full-time, caseload ranges from 10-55 students per week)
• Address a variety of speech, language, and communication needs within school environments
• Enjoy flexible scheduling with accommodations for full or part time hours

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Kansas SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and allied professionals
• Organizational skills to manage varied caseloads and documentation
• Comfort using teletherapy tools for hybrid service delivery

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver assessments, direct therapy, and consultative services for infants through high school students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain timely and accurate records and progress monitoring
• Communicate progress and engage with students, families, and faculty
