Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold the appropriate credentials for School Social Work
• Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) highly preferred
• Strong communication and advocacy skills in both individual and small group settings
• Ability to build trust, rapport, and productive relationships with students, families, and educators
• Knowledge of relevant laws, resources, and intervention strategies for school-based social work

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group counseling sessions tailored to students’ unique needs
• Address a range of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with school staff and families to enhance student well-being and academic performance
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
• Serve as a supportive, empathetic resource within the school community
