Physical Therapist - School Setting in Northampton, MA

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapist licensure required
• Previous experience providing physical therapy services within a school environment is strongly preferred
• Comfortable managing a caseload of 11-15 students, delivering a range of direct and consultative services (A, B, and C grid)
• Able to work independently—no PTA supervision is involved
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Organized, with the ability to manage varying schedules and locations efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy programs tailored to students' needs
• Travel between two school buildings to support students on your caseload
• Deliver all required services directly, supporting IEP goals and student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Consult with teachers and families regarding strategies for maximizing students’ functional independence
• Contribute to team meetings and share expertise on physical development in the school context
