Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience and enthusiasm for working with pediatric populations, specifically within schools
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school-based pediatric caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers to support student success
- Document progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for developing student goals
- Advocate for students’ communication needs within the school environment
