We are seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) or a combination of SLP and SLPA for the upcoming academic year. With an August 17 start and a June 11 end date, you’ll support student communication growth and well-being in vibrant educational environments.
Choose from two exciting settings:
- An elementary school role serving approximately 50 students with both primary and related speech needs. This position requires on-site support.
- A middle school assignment with a smaller caseload of around 20 students, offering the possibility of part-time hours.
The two schools are a short 10-minute drive apart. If you are an SLP open to supervising, a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) could also be considered for this assignment.
Preferred experience and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship candidates welcome
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Two years of experience in school-based settings preferred
- Skilled in delivering pediatric speech therapy and case management
- Ability to supervise SLPA (if applicable)
- Commitment to on-site services at the elementary school
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students in elementary and/or middle school settings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
- Offer supervision to an SLPA (if needed and qualified)
