You’ll collaborate with educators and families to support communication needs for students in grades K–12, with caseloads thoughtfully assigned based on your background and interests. The position welcomes both local professionals and those interested in travel assignments.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-based caseloads (early childhood, elementary, or K–12)
- Familiarity with therapy interventions for students with a range of exceptionalities, from moderate to profound needs
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy to students to address communication, language, articulation, and social/pragmatic skills
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Adjust approaches to meet diverse learning styles and needs within the school environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
