Qualifications:
- Current California Occupational Therapist License is required
- Previous experience in a school setting highly desirable
- Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Compassion for supporting students with diverse needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-8 students, both individually and in small groups
- Assess and document students’ needs, progress, and goals in compliance with IEPs and school guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student participation and success
- Adapt and modify classroom tools, materials, and environments for students’ unique needs
- Maintain accurate records and timely communication with staff and families
- Attend IEP meetings as an essential member of the support team
