Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut Occupational Therapy license (CT OT License) required
- Previous experience providing OT in a school setting strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of pediatric therapies and IEP process for school environments
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 K-8 students
- Assess student needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
- Conduct skill-based evaluations, progress monitoring, and detailed documentation
- Provide consultation to school staff regarding accommodations and in-classroom strategies
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district regulations and reporting
Assignment Details:
- Contract term: August 28, 2026 – June 11, 2027
- 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
