Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid OT license in Washington State (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
- Ability to adapt interventions for varied learning needs and collaborate effectively with teachers and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess student abilities and develop relevant goals, treatment plans, and progress reports
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff to integrate OT strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to support student access and progress
- Travel between two local school sites as part of your weekly routine
