Occupational Therapist School Setting in New Britain, CT

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a school-based Occupational Therapist working across multiple sites within a dynamic district near New Britain, CT. Key Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience as a school-based OT preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary educational team
• Flexibility to serve multiple school sites as needed across the district

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite occupational therapy services to K-12 students
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Support students in reaching their academic and functional goals
• Consult regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student success
• Travel to various schools within the district as part of your weekly responsibility (35 hours per week)
• Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress
