A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Mechanicsville, MD. This onsite role is focused on delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions tailored to students' educational needs throughout the academic year starting August 10, 2026, and ending June 17, 2027.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students' academic and functional goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote student success
- Conduct evaluations and monitor progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to meet student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with licensing and school requirements
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapy license
- Experience working with school-age children in an educational environment preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based OT practices and federal/state education regulations
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work collaboratively within an educational team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location: Mechanicsville, MD (onsite)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
