Occupational Therapist School Setting - Auburn, WA

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students in a dynamic K-12 environment near Auburn, WA! This contract role offers a fulfilling chance to work collaboratively with educators, families, and staff while helping students achieve their full potential. The position runs from September 2, 2025, through June 12, 2026, covering 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, with a manageable caseload of 30 students.

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State is required.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families.
• Ability to adapt interventions to a diverse range of K-12 student needs.
• Organized, self-motivated, and empathetic in helping students increase their independence and access to education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to support academic performance and participation.
• Provide direct therapy services to students across K-12, adjusting interventions based on progress and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support and promote student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to reports and documentation in compliance with district and state policies.
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and engage regularly with parents and staff.
