Grades 6 - 8 Grades K - 5 School Psychologist in Orono, ME

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a School Psychologist supporting students across all grade levelsfrom Kindergarten through 12th gradein a school setting located in Orono, ME. The role is contract-based and designed to provide essential psychological services during the academic year.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12 (K-5, 6-8, 9-12)
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations to support student learning and well-being
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address students academic, social, and behavioral needs
• Provide counseling and intervention services when appropriate
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Qualifications:

• Active School Psychologist state license is required
• Experience working with K-12 students across multiple grade ranges is preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff and families

Position Details:

• Contract duration: Immediate start through the end of the current school year
• Work schedule: 30 hours per week, 5 days per week
• Location: Orono, ME
