ProCare Therapy is partnering with a welcoming school district in Cattaraugus, New York, to hire a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Details

• Position: Full-Time School Psychologist
• Location: Cattaraugus, NY
• Assignment Dates: September 2, 2026 – August 31, 2027
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Caseload: Student ages and grade levels are currently being finalized.
• Interview Availability: Interviews are being scheduled for Tuesday morning, July 28. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
• Participate in eligibility, multidisciplinary, and IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success.
• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational programming and interventions.
• Maintain timely documentation and ensure compliance with New York State and federal special education regulations.
• Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports.

Qualifications

• Active New York State School Psychologist certification required.
• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology.
• Strong assessment, consultation, and report writing skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
